 Only 390 Beetles were sold in the U.S. in 1951 and of those, few were the more sought after deluxe models with the rare "V" Code sunroof option. Professional body-off restoration of this rust-free CA split rear window Bug. Original Chestnut Brown exterior with the 1951 one year only "crotch cooler" kick panel vents, working semaphore turn signals, stayfast cloth top, two tone wheels with wide white tires. Cloth interior as original with cloth headliner. Fully detailed pan, early Porsche fully syncro transmission and 1192cc motor with up dated 12-volt electrical system. Many period accessories such as gas heater, spare tire tool kit, rear luggage rack, bambus under dash shelf, remote fuel handle, front visor, bud vase and fender skirts.
